Today, the Asteasier project consortium partners A4F and SOLE-LAB (University of Verona) are excited to announce a significant milestone reached: samples are ready to be sent for fish trials at Biomar, a renowned leader company in aquaculture and partner in the Asteasier project.
This is not a goodbye… but it is definitely the beginning of a new phase for Asteasier. In fact, last 31 December the project officially ended after two years of activity.
With 2024, Asteasier also ended; just last year, the project achieved extraordinary results, which make us proud of the work done. At the beginning of 2025, with a little delay, we are pleased to share the latest result from Asteasier: last December, our partner BioMar released the results of the fish trials; an important moment, which represents the culmination of the work done in the last two years.
The last few months have marked an important milestone for our project: we are proud to announce that the Asteasier start-up has been founded. This was a fundamental step in the development of the Asteasier project, which in less than two years went from the research and trial phase to the market entry phase.
We can announce another important achievement for the Asteasier project as A4F, our Portuguese project partner, launched a demo unit at the University of Verona, in Italy.
The Asteasier project was recently mentioned on FeedNavigator’s website, an online magazine which dedicated an entire article to the project and its goals.
Asteasier participated in the final stages of the PNI2023, Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione (National Innovation Awards), the annual business plan competition that showcases the best start-ups in Italy.
Last 22nd of September, the Asteasier project was presented in front of an audience of potential stakeholders, as part of the Tech Demo Days organized by the EIC.
Last June 12-14, Asteasier was presented during the International Conference on Algal Biomass, Biofuels and Bioproducts (AlgalBBB) that took place at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort, Hawaii, USA.
Asteasier’s team is excited to welcome you to the new website, built from scratch to provide a meaningful and informative experience to our public and stakeholders.
